11 Feb 2012 The Valley Orchid Group will have its annual
display of orchids in the conservatory of the K.C. Irving Environmental
Science Centre at Acadia University from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There is a presentation in the downstairs auditorium about orchid
growing and people in the lobby selling orchids along with specialized
materials and instructions on how to help them grow well.

April 14th "Wolfville, Seedy Saturday. Come celebrate
spring and all the promise that a seed holds at the Wolfville
Farmers' Market. At our Seedy Saturday, in addition to our usual
market, you will be able to: buy seeds from local seed savers,
plant an heirloom tomato seed to take home, meet with seed savers
and seed saving organizations, or take a seed saving workshop.
