Members' Bulletin Board

 

District Meeting is coming. The first sign of Spring.

Date: Saturday April 24th.

Tickets are $16.00 per person. Members who are planning to attend should register and pay for their ticket at our March Meeting . Registration takes place at the Kingston Lion Hall between 9:00 and 9:45. Coffee and sweets will be available. A hot turkey dinner will be served at noon.

In order to help keep recycling and landfill waste to a minimum, we have been requested to bring our own coffee mugs and a bag to take home any purchases from vendors.

Speakers for the District Meeting

  • Arthur Haskins -- will speak on growing hostas

  • Will Neilly -- will speak on growing giant pumpkins -- he also grows gourds and has some very interesting ways of doing that!

  • Lorraine Beswick -- will be speaking about "Early Beginnings" for our gardens which will touch on the many plants we see in the spring and early summer..

Member Survey.

All members are being asked to fill out a survey. The purpose of this survey is to enable all members to have a say in the future direction of the club. Please take part, we would like to have a 100% response from members.
